There are often times in your life when you really need someone to give you advice and to help guide you through the maze of choices and options. This is your starting point. Listed here are links to agencies that can help deal with issues that you may encounter.
Bullying
Bullying UK has been in operation since 1999. In 2007 the charity changed its name from Bullying Online to reflect the fact that it works all over the UK. Since 1999 Bullying UK has answered more than 52,000 emails, many of them from parents and children in total despair. Well over 500,000 visitors their website every year information and advice.
Kidscape is committed to keeping children safe from abuse. Kidscape is the first charity in the UK established specifically to prevent bullying and child sexual abuse. Kidscape believes that protecting children from harm is key. Kidscape works with children and young people under the age of 16, their parents/carers, and those who work with them.
PARINS aim is to develop a partnership approach that will increase community confidence to report racist incidents, so that such incidents are reduced and community relations in North Staffordshire are improved.
Homelessness
YMCA housing and support service is to provide a safe and supportive environment which enables young people who are in transition to move from dependent to independent living
Arch is a registered charity offering support and advice to a range of people across Staffordshire. Arch works with people who are in housing need, families in need of support, victims and perpetrators of domestic violence and people seeking to return to education, training and employment.
Shelter is a charity that works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing. We do this by giving advice, information and advocacy to people in housing need, and by campaigning for lasting political change to end the housing crisis for good.

Drugs and Alcohol
The Young People’s Drug Project is part of your Youth Service. The project is made up of dedicated workers that you can talk to about how drugs or alcohol may be affecting you or your family. We don’t preach or lecture you, and can explore the issues that you feel are important. All our services are free and confidential to young people aged 5-19 years living in Stoke on Trent. If you have concerns about your own or someone else’s drug or alcohol use we may be able to help.
If you need help or advice about drugs and alcohol, or are worried about someone else, you can talk to Frank in complete confidence,24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
T3-Stoke on Trent (Drug and Alcohol Service) is a free and confidential treatment service for under 19′s who are experiencing problems arising from their use of drugs and/or alcohol.

Quit Because is the youth service at QUIT®, the charity that helps people quit smoking. They help young people of all ages make informed choices about tobacco use and provide support and advice to those who want to stop smoking.
Information and guidance about Chlamydia and other STI’s
Clinic in a box is a nurse led service, which offers sexual health advice and information as well as contraception supplies to young people. Also, this service gives advice and information relating to a wide range of issues such as relationships, puberty and cancer awareness, smoking and diet.
